Return & Refund Policy

At Modern Maharani, every piece is individually handcrafted and made to order. For this reason we follow a strict no-return and no-exchange policy, and we accept prepaid orders only. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

All sales are final

We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, fit, or colour preference. Kindly review the product description, measurements, fabric details and size guide before you order.

Damaged or defective items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will arrange a replacement or refund only when all of the following conditions are met:

• The issue is reported within 24 hours (one day) of delivery.
• You provide a complete, continuous and uncut unboxing video, recorded from the moment the sealed parcel is first opened, that clearly shows the unopened package, the shipping label, all product tags and labels, and the damage or defect.
• The item is unused, unwashed and unworn, with all original tags and packaging intact.

Requests raised after 24 hours, or without a valid unboxing video that clearly shows the required labels and details, cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

Handmade variations are not defects

Minor differences in colour, weave, print, beadwork or finish are natural characteristics of handcrafted products and are not treated as damage or defects.

How to raise a claim

Email us at support@modernmaharani.shop within 24 hours of delivery, quoting your order number and attaching the unboxing video. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 to 3 business days.

Refunds

Where a claim is approved, the refund is issued to your original prepaid payment method within 5 to 7 business days after the item is received back and inspected. Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.
